The following prizes will be on offer:

1. Most notable record of a resident species (macrolepidoptera). This may be a species not recorded locally
for some time, or a scarce species at a new site. The winner will receive a professionally made collapsible moth-trap, complete with electrics and waterproof control box, donated by Anglian Lepidopterist Supplies.
Choice of a 125W mercury vapour or a 15W actinic trap available. If you have enough moth-traps the prize
can be donated to your local wildlife trust, local nature reserve, etc, on your behalf.

2. Most notable record of a resident species (microlepidoptera). This may be a species not recorded locally
for some time, or a scarce species at a new site. The winner will receive a copy of Pyraloidea of Europe
Volume 1 donated by the publisher, Frantisek Slamka.

3. Rarest immigrant species recorded. The winner will receive a £50 book token, which can be used to purchase titles from Atropos Books (valid for one year).

Please note that the following rules apply:

1. In order to qualify for prizes, the relevant record must be accepted by the county recorder.

2. In order to qualify for category 3, full details of the capture (and name of the captor) must be reported
to the answermachine on 01326 290287 the next day, or reported to the Flight Arrivals page on the
Atropos website www.atropos.info.

3. Members of the Atropos editorial panel and BC staff are not eligible for prizes.

4. All decisions made will be final.
