This is a public moth event with a theme of bats and moths, so a bat expert and local moth expert, Dave Grundy will be on hand to show people both groups. Head south along the lane from Tankerville, past The Bog Visitor Centre on the right and The Bog CP on the left and continuing along the single-lane track for approx half-a-mile with small CP for 6 or so cars on the left just below Nipstone Rock. We will then have access through the gate which allows us to get closer to Nipstone Rock with equipment

additional information: At 7.00pm we start with a Silver-studded Blue caterpillar hunt. Then at 8.30pm (meeting again by the gate) we do a bat walk. Finally at 10.00pm (meeting again by the gate) we start moth trapping, aiming to finish at around midnight.
